MA Psychology
Introduction
Master of Arts in Psychology provides a wide range of specialization knowledge, creative synthesis and critical thinking. These skills are indispensable in many career fields. It will enhance the opportunities of the students to get job in Central and State Government offices. The scope of psychology teaching and counseling in Indian Universities and schools is also increasing tremendously. Students can pursue the UGC-NET exam for lectureship after completing this degree.
Academic Objectives
1). To enable students to gather in depth knowledge of Psychology as a science and familiarize them with recent developments for benefit of Local, National and International community.
2). To enhance the core knowledge of the students.
3). To infuse specialization knowledge like counseling, child psychology, health, organizational, and positive psychology, etc.
4). To increase the creative synthesis and critical thinking of the students.
5). To motivate the students for research.
6). To develop a understanding for teaching Psychology and its application, so that it enables them to consider teaching as a profession in addition to counseling and Psychological therapy.
